Quarantunes: FoN Edition
When words fail, music speaks. Music is a way for all of us to get messages of optimism and hope and each of us hears and sees a different message in songs.
As we are all adjusting to new norms, we've decided to launch this weekly playlist project to share songs that are keeping our UCalgary Nursing community going.
To kick things off, we asked members of our Mental Health and Wellness team to share a song with us that has meaning and inspiration to them to share with faculty, staff, and students. Each week, we'll share a poll on our Instagram account @ucalgarynursing so you can share your song picks which we'll feature and compile into upcoming playlists.
Enjoy and happy listening.

Home - Phillip Phillips
Julia Imanoff, doctoral student, nursing instructor, graduate teaching assistant
"This song is meaningful to me because it reminds me that home is about the feeling of connected-ness in times of uncertainty. We can make our home in our physical place, but also virtual spaces."
